Job Summary:  
The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in various financial activities including data gathering, analysis, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The incumbent will collect data from multiple sources across the organization and use their quantitative and analytical skillset to create actionable intelligence out of the data.  The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for presenting and communicating their analyses to the company’s leadership team on a frequent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and track P&L analytics (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Provide financial analysis and support for various SG&A functions
• Develop KPI reporting as needed
• Prepare and review business cases requiring capital investment or changes in process
• Establish methodologies necessary to accurately track initiatives and projects
• Improve the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes for the corporate areas of the organization
• Analyze the cost structure of the organization at the SG&A function level
• Possess initiative to represent the corporate finance viewpoint in internal discussions involving overall profitability of the company
• Create trend analysis that allows for proactive decision-making
• Compile and prepare accurate and timely reports, graphs and charts of data developed; provide insights into the performance of the business
• Own moderate processes and/or portions of complex processes
• Participate in special financial and business related studies as needed to support project objectives
• Conduct ongoing assessments of procedures to better understand and identify future needs and challenges
• Lead and direct the work of other analysts as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience creating and maintaining complex financial models in MS-Excel
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Suite and modeling skills
• Exposure to large databases; and proven ability to deliver analytics
• Some exposure to PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, and Smartview
• Exposure to large operating environment; preferably with diverse geographic locations
• Experience owning and contributing to processes and/or portions of processes
• Knowledgeable of the accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• MBA, CPA, CMA desired
