Job Description



The Account Executive – Show Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day sales and business development of trade shows. (approximately 200 major and minor shows annually) As well as provide site support to make security, service and customer service adjustments that protect the company from a potential loss.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day sales and business deployment for trade shows. Including, but not limited to security standards, operational efficiencies and cost control.
• Manage customer service and sales functions to include, account bookings, sales calls, client relationship development, processing supply orders, maintaining existing accounts and tracking lost accounts.
• Develop and maintain a strategic account data base by profile and account commodity to target future accounts as well as grow existing ones.
• Monitor field and show site integrity for security threats from both outside and internal possibilities.
• Provide leadership to develop and grow the existing CSR positions to handle, process and cover all account inquires as well as maintain the existing account database.
• Ability to take charge and maintain control of field incidents/issues between employees and customers by defusing them in a professional businesslike manner.
Manage all aspects of contract maintenance and renewal based on the terms of the agreements; improve the terms of agreement to meet specific Brink’s needs when renewing contracts, particularly when profitability can favorably be impacted.
Respond to and resolve customer service and problem situations as needed by providing exemplary customer service to all new and existing customers.
Follow up on accounts receivable, “past due” situations when requested by management.

• Ability to take control, document and report all security and related exposure incidents to upper management in a timely manner.
• Required learning of all general show responsibilities to include but not limited to cargo bookings, tracking programs and show inventory processes based on show size and site logistics.
• Insure that all billing inquires as well as damage and service issues are reported and satisfied in a timely manner.
• Travel to various cities where major shows are taking place, ensure that set up and documentation is complete
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of  three (3) years of outside sales experience with demonstrated success growing business in emerging markets – air freight experience and/or freight forwarding experience will be considered above all other candidates
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing multiple accounts and providing business development solutions where none before existed
• Minimum of five (5) years experience meeting or exceeding business goals including revenue targets
• Intermediate to Expert level skills in all areas of Microsoft Office
• Must be 21 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Air Freight / Freight Forwarding specifically in the Sales, Account Development and operational solutions space with a focus on Indian markets and other international D&J Centers
• Ability to speak Hindi/Gujarati/Punjabi
• Demonstrated ability to execute business-to-business selling plans and business acumen
• BS or BA Degree
Professional Skills:
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship building skills
• Superior level of accuracy and attention to detail a must
• Successful candidates must possess excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
