Job Summary:
Candidates applying for the Application Architect position must be seasoned professionals who are masters of their craft. He/she will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to their team while effectively working across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
•Defining a technical roadmap for the team, specifying when new processes and technologies will be adopted
•Mentoring individual team members to improve the quality of their software engineering and architecture
•Leading design discussions to defining the major architecture patterns the project will follow
•Organizing and/or leading technical talks to expose team members to new or improved technologies or processes
•Maintaining awareness of best-practice patterns and practices through such vehicles as attending training sessions, reading journals and blogs, attending user groups, hands-on research, and/or executing hands-on training lab modules
•Consult with clients to gather information about program objectives, functions, features, and input / output requirements
•Partner with business associates to interpret use cases and derive technical specifications

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have Cloud based development experience
-Performance SQL Optimization
•Minimum of 10 years experience in software development
•Minimum of 7 years experience using the VS.NET development environment
•Minimum of 5 years experience designing and building enterprise-class web-based business applications.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
•Consultative background that spans across several different industries.
•BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or MIS
•Microsoft certifications such as MCSD or MCAD
•Familiar with automated build configuration and automated application deployments using TFS

Professional Skills:
•Experience in all aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, and detail system design
•Self-motivated and able to work with little direct managerial supervision
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
