We have a challenging opportunity for FT Brokerage Biller to work in the BGS US office in Springfield Gardens.  


The Brokerage Biller will be responsible for the overall billing process and responsible for invoice uploading to customer portal.  This position will also be responsible for vendor invoice and AR Billing in BITS.  



Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for all Brokerage Company billing in QuestWeb and AR billing in BITS system.   

Responsible for fees including but not limited to: Cargo Entries; F&W Clearance, Carnet Clearance, Banknote Clearance, Registration; MPF; VAT/TAX; FTZ Billing; Bond fees; remote location filing and import custom clearance

Ensure the process is complete for all Brokerage Company invoicing on the third business day of the AR billing

Support the AP team with vendor invoices  

Responsible for clearing house queries on a weekly basis  

Answer customer inquiries (internal and external)

Resolve customer disputes

Assists in special projects as needed

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:

Be at least 21 years of age  

Minimum of 3 years billing in freight forward/logistics   

High level proficiency in Excel, Word and other MS Office product

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Level degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships within a global organization.

Detail oriented with an Accounting background.

High level of integrity where personal and professional values are aligned with the company’s mission, vision and leadership framework.

Self-aware and self-motivated - comfortable operating with minimal direction and will thrive in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and transformation.

Responsive performance driven

Ability to forge strong relationships and work collaboratively within the company locally and the global network.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
