Job Summary:  
Reporting to the BGS US Vice President, this position will work primarily in support of assessment and development of new process improvements across all business lines.  He or she will work with all departments within business units to analyze where there is room for improvement.  They will be required to assist with the execution of new process improvement methodologies and toolsets.  They will be assisting with building proficiency for different departments through knowledge sharing and coaching.  They will help build the Business Process Improvement Team’s credibility by engaging effectively with stakeholders, deploying appropriate practices and create and maintain a reputation as the internal consultant of choice by senior management for any problem solving or design initiatives.

They will also assist with assuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.  The Continuous Improvement Project Manager will act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to current practices.  Focus should be on the effective use of resources, within both people and technology, for the successful completion of each task.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify improvement opportunities and assist in managing improvement requests from the business

Consult with all levels throughout the organization, to define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access

Partner with leadership to build Lean culture and capability at all levels

Document and monitor business processes, business rules, metrics and standard operating procedures as a result of improvement initiatives

Deliver process improvement training to staff

Identify, assess/validate, document and share local best practices for potential company-wide adoption and standardization

Help create process flows and documentation for all departments

Ability to manage results, process and relationships while driving to identify outcomes.

Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, information technology analysts and consultants

Knowledge of Accounting and ERP systems to ensure optimal operational performance

Assist in developing an overall change management strategy and process

Takes initiative to directly support and solve both short-term and chronic Voice of Customer issues

Has the ability to conduct and prepare cost/benefit analysis

Behavior-based leadership: uses Influencer methodology to drive change management success at branch/district level

Participate in various business process and technology integration initiatives

Special projects as assigned by management

Analyze and Negotiate contracts and agreements

Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive business experience implementing customer solutions/project management experience in a matrix environment that is operationally and customer service driven and/or where the relationship between customer solution implementation needs is balanced with profitability of the business.

Demonstrated track record of results and product implementation experience or transferable internal BGS/Brinks experience in Sales/Operations or Customer Service.

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information systems or Finance

Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project  

Four plus (4+) years of professional experience with process analysis, system implementations and/or change management  

Strong knowledge of GAAP/accounting theory

Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to details

Mature professional with sound judgement and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical ability

Excellent written and communication skills
