Job Description



The Executive Leadership Team Desktop Support Technician is responsible for completing all in-scope Executive Leadership support services, including break-fix, desk-side support, new system installation, move/add/change and asset tracking activities. This position will provide in-depth technical hardware and software support for all desktop, laptop and mobile device platforms supported by Brink’s, Inc.

Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, test, analyze, and provide problem resolution for all Executive local and remote hardware and software elements, including but not limited to PCs, cell phones, tablets, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Diagnose, evaluate, prioritize, and escalate requests for assistance from Executives who are experiencing problems with hardware, software, windows operating system, networking and other computer related issues
• Take ownership of Executive technical issues and work with other groups to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
• Resolve Executive issues without the need for team lead intervention
• Define and document problem resolution steps
• Perform all break-fix repair, including parts ordering, shipping, application and peripheral support, configuration, virus removal, and work with vendors to resolve support issues
• Perform installation of standard images, applications, and transfer data from old to new system
• Provide weekly status report to management
• Provide all aspects of cell phone support to VIP users
• Provide all aspects of tablet support to VIP users
• Setup of Executive meetings and respective conference equipment
• Responsible for maintaining and repair of conference room equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
• Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures carried out

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:
•     Minimum of 4 years’ experience providing desktop support in a network environment
• Microsoft MCP certification would be desirable
• CompTIA A+ certification would be desirable
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals would be desirable
• Strong understanding of workstation principles, operating systems, systems configurations, utility programs, operational procedures and automation concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry work experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, Windows 10, iOS, OSX, Office 365 applications and Cloud
• Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office within a network environment (Outlook, calendar sharing, operating system Microsoft, MAC OS, Linux, Office 365)
• English communication written & spoken
