Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Global Sourcing Excellence Leader (GSEL) is responsible for establishing and deploying the Brink’s sourcing process across category and country organizations as it relates to Sourcing Toolkits, Spend Analytics, Governance, Spend Under Management, Project Pipeline, Supplier Scorecards, and the Quarterly Business Review process.  The GSEL will serve in a player/coach capacity, while leading a team, to develop the Brink’s sourcing team while providing consistent methodologies that accelerate the sourcing process and increases the delivered value.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Leadership and development of a team that develops tools and governance
• Interface with category and country organizations to determine needs and effectiveness of the Brink’s sourcing process
• Standardizing the reporting and visualization of spend management efforts (spend under management, pipeline, Total Cost of Ownership -TCO performance, etc.)
• Establish and maintain a Sourcing Board (to be chaired by CPO) to facilitate cross-functional decision making and visibility to contracts and other sourcing decisions
• Develop and maintain process to identify non-preferred supplier spending and engage necessary leaders for corrective action
• Build and launch the standard Brink’s Sourcing Process through cross-functional input and oversee the adoption and training required.
• Lead development of analytical tools (e.g., pricing and supply chain models) for total cost of ownership and price optimization opportunities
• Lead development of standard metrics/ dashboard reporting with regard to supplier and sourcing performance
• Develop and implement forward-looking asset purchase requirements for money processing and fleet categories to be used for longer term CERs (Capital Expenditure Requests)
• Provide inputs and reporting methodologies for use in ELT to advance the understanding of sourcing value and activities
• Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of appropriate P-Card programs to increase spend transparency and lower transaction costs

• Experienced sourcing leader with various industry backgrounds rooted in process-based sourcing
• Dynamic leadership that generates a pull mentality within the matrix organization
• Executive presence with ability to engage entry level Brink’s personnel
• Ability to manage multiple work streams at once while reporting to several groups
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Critical thinker, with excellent analytic abilities, and superior attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills with emphasis on converting analyses into executive-level presentations
• Up to 50% travel required
Qualifications – Education, Experience, Certifications
• BS/BA degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business or equivalent work experience  
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Foreign languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) a plus
• MBA or an advanced degree in supply chain or business management a plus    
• APICS or CPIM certification a plus
• Expert ability with MS Office applications – particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of sourcing/procurement, fleet operations, and/or distribution facility operations
