Job Description

This individual will be responsible for building financial models, examining cost-analysis, and performing in-depth analytics that provide actionable conclusions. Duties will also include monitoring / establishing KPIs and staying abreast of current trends. The role is hands on and we are looking for a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. A successful candidate must have prior experience in corporate finance, solid analytical skills, strong communication, an ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision and be very comfortable with complex models.
• Lead all reporting, modeling and analytical needs for the division
• Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies including the ROI.
• Creates financial pricing models for new potential customers and for re-rating of existing customer agreements for RCS product line
• Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
• Collaboration with project and business process owners to develop and maintain key business cases for projects and continuous improvement initiatives
•  Assists in the monthly close process to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
• Tracks financial and operating status by monitoring variances from plan.
• Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
• The development and maintenance of strategic and analytical dashboards that give insight into the company’s financial health
• Prepares timely and accurate reports, plans, and forecasts for internal constituents.
• Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
• Market and business intelligence research, when requested
• Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts
• Has knowledge of and can apply commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the finance and accounting field.
• Collaborates heavily with operational leadership to provide quality tools to expedite and improve decision-making.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Five-Seven years of experience in analytical and strategic thinking role required
• Strong quantitative and analytical background
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, accounting, mathematics or business required
• Solid understanding of financial models
• Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be comfortable dealing with large data sets with the ability to manipulate data and summarize findings
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work with various departments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills – Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of SQL  
• Knowledge of BI/Visualization tools is a plus (i.e. Tableau)
