Key Responsibilities:
• Lead in a matrix environment all Project Management teams, responsible for end-to-end project management across all functions
• Develop and implement a standard project management framework consisting of Program Management Office processes, common templates, controls & assurance activities as well as supporting project management tools and capabilities to meet the objectives of the business
• Drive establishment and compliance of project management guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business
• Develop and implement a standard project management framework consisting of Program Management Office processes, common templates, controls & assurance activities as well as supporting project management tools and capabilities to meet the objectives of the business
• Provide thought leadership to program and project delivery and lead continuous improvement programs to streamline and improve effectiveness
• Provide visibility of all major initiatives in the U.S. or affecting the U.S. to key stakeholders
• Implement and manage a stage-gate process for Program and Project Management
• Partner with functional areas to report on projects and programs with nominated Project Managers per tower, such as operations, sales and HR
• Create a culture of excellence and execution in Program Management and communication
• Ensure that all program participants provide timely information, deliverables and execution per program schedules
• Manage and set expectations that are realistic but aggressive
• Act as highest point of escalation for program and product issues
• Help to introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering at an accredited university.
• 5-10 years of direct project management experience with at least 2 in a PMO supervisory role supporting product development teams.
• Professional Certifications (PMI, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma)
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• PMO leadership, preferably defining and launching PMO function within a mid-size or large organization
• Vendor management experience
Professional Skills:
• Complete customer focus with a deep understanding of customer experience
• Strong sense of urgency and drive to deliver projects as outlined
• Ability to work across functions in a matrixed organization
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Ability to handle heavy workloads with limited supervision
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
