Job Summary:  
The District Vice President, Cash in Transit will be a key member of the Operation Leadership Team and report to our Vice President of Field Operations (Cash in Transit).  The DVP of CIT will provide leadership, direction, and P&L ownership for the entire operations of the assigned district. Specifically, this position is responsible for directing all facets of field operations and oversees a network of branches, fleet of vehicles, and over 400 employees responsible for delivering a variety of cash supply logistics services to both financial institutions and retail organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
*  Provide strategic direction and leadership to the US operations function.
*  Provide leadership to all operational aspects of the business to ensure Brink’s customers service expectations are met or exceeded while ensuring process consistency, internal quality, safety and security.
*  Drive productivity and efficiency initiatives to improve operating margins and customer satisfaction by utilizing LEAN methodology and tools.
*  Establish and lead using a Balanced Scorecard approach to optimize operational capabilities and improve margins.
*  Stay up-to-date on market and competitor trends in order to develop an operational strategy which will help the Company meet its overall business plan and strategy.
*  Represent the operations function, provide input and support for cross-functional or global projects.
*  Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to team of Regional Vice Presidents and subject matter experts in cash logistics.
*  Lead and promote the safety and security of all Brinks’ employees in the field.
*  Support people development to all employees and build a bench of future operational leaders at all levels.
*  Support business development & innovation activities in the field.
*  Support business development activities and participate in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key Financial Institutions and Retail customers.
*  Develop, pilot, and implement new cash supply chain service offerings and solutions.

Desired Qualifications:
*  The ideal candidate will be a strategic operational leader with significant experience managing complex operations in the logistics or supply chain related industries. Proven expertise in LEAN / Six-Sigma and a track record of streamline processes to positively impact margins is required.
*  At least 10 years of experience leading complex logistics operations with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing a country or large region.
*  Excellent and clearly demonstrated leadership, business and overall management skills.
*  Skillful communicator who delivers clear and effective verbal and written messages.
*  Strong facilitation and negotiating skills.
*  Flexible and adaptable to a demanding and fast-paced work environment.
*  B.A. /B.S. required and Master’s degree preferred.
