Job Summary:
The Security Engineer is responsible for Brink’s, Incorporated North America security posture, including implementation, documentation, and all aspects of production changes, upgrades and securing the NA IT environment. This position requires an understanding of Policies and Standards with detailed technical skills in network and systems security. The incumbent will perform day-to-day functions, such as monitoring alarms, responding to and coordinating responses to threats, vulnerability scanning and analysis. This position will design, research and maintain the integrity of the Brink’s, Incorporated North American network while coordinating with all regions, business entities and IT organizations.

Position Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the System Engineers, Network Engineers and the Network Security teams during day to day tasks
• Integrate LAN/WAN security efforts, projects and other information systems
• Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, testing, upgrades, installation and on-going administration of Local and Wide Area Secured Networks
• Support a secure network including: updating Security Appliances, recommending Security Counter-Measures and Technologies, identifying and correcting areas lacking security
• Maintain a current Security Infrastructure and stay up-to-date on latest virus outbreaks; update appliances, adjusting as necessary to meet the requirements of Brink’s, Incorporated business
• Monitor IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, Web/Mail Filters, DLP, etc. and proactively seek remediation of security breaches; coordinate and lead the effort in correcting any outbreaks and updates required
• Serve as the Point of Contact for network security configuration, management and implementation.
• Install and maintain network/endpoint security systems and/or existing hardware and software
• Research, evaluate and recommend hardware and software for securing systems and help in planning for the future
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years network engineering, support and design experience
• Minimum of 10 years technical experience with large scale IP networks
• Minimum of 5 years technical experience working with security applications
• 10 year’s experience with firewalls Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Juniper
• 10 years experience Load balancer F5, A10.
• MCSE or MCSE + Security certification
• CCNA or CCNP certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• ITIL Certification
• Strong knowledge of the following subject areas: vulnerability and WAS Scans, configuring, scheduling, interpreting; Nessus, Qualys; application, endpoint, and network security concepts and technologies (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN’s, SIEM, Packet Captures; Cisco Iron Port Web/Mail Filters; Endpoint Security (A/V, HIPS, DLP, Encryption); Application Security (Exchange, SharePoint, etc.); Windows Server Systems and Microsoft Technology)
• Experience managing and implementing Endpoint Security solutions including but not limited to Anti-Virus, HIPS/HIDS, DLP and Encryption
• Experience using McAfee/Symantec enterprise class solutions
• Experience creating and auditing against Security Baselines
• Experience using MS Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project
Professional Skills:
• Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
