Job Summary:  
The Internship is responsible for validating, manipulating and reporting on data from various systems, overseeing multiple projects in different stages and documenting and re-designing relevant IT processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and document the interactive system requirement sessions to capture business rules, workflow, project goals, and project benefits
• Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems and learn specific input and output requirements
• Write detailed description of user needs and program functions
• Provide assistance as required to organizations outside of the company (vendors, customers) to develop/improve automation that crosses company boundaries
• Maintain an effective user-support relationship
• Perform black box, integration and regression testing of the additional module /  applications developed on an ongoing basis
• Train users as required
• Develop expertise on the current applications that are in use and provide first level support for issues faced by the users
• Gain application configuration knowledge and configure applications to meet business needs
• Prepare application release notes, monthly progress reports
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in College level courses
• Has a College degree in IT related area

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2years work experience is desired as a business analyst
• Minimum of 3 years experience using Microsoft Office suite (Visio, Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Professional Skills:
• Experience as business analyst in a logistics company
• Experience facilitating application design sessions
• Experience in areas of process improvement
• Experience writing test plans for system and user acceptance testing
• Project Management skills
• Experience working with Client/Server and Web applications
• Knowledge of SQL
