JOB SUMMARY:   
The IT ServiceNow Business Analyst works with key customers to capture business and user requirements. The Analyst also works with the development support team to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. A key area of support is the IT service catalog.

The ServiceNow Business Analyst possess sound foundational knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and applications, a detailed understanding of the business users represented, and the ability to describe business and user requirements in a manner that enables system administrators, application developers, and quality assurance engineers to understand, estimates relative effort, and deliver business functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Represents project stakeholders and customers throughout planning, development, release processes
• Owns the relationship with project stakeholders to identify, model, and document business requirements
• Creates release estimated with development
• Ensures design requirements are documented effectively
• Tests and coordinates training and communications
• Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders and customers, ensuring understanding of design decisions
• Builds and manages IT Service Catalog taxonomy and overall structure
• Performs service catalog configuration activities
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

Job Requirements



MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business, Data or Systems Analyst
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing business or data analysis
• Minimum 5 years’ documenting and analyzing business processes
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building service catalog items and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience managing or working on projects required.
• ITIL, Lean or Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certification required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ Years supporting business analyst work within Service Now
• Experience in management of IT service catalog  in ServiceNow
• Experience supporting Service Management processes
• ServiceNow Foundations and ServiceNow System Administration certification

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
• Strong technical foundation and knowledge of ServiceNow platform
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Able to identify dependencies and downstream implications
• Excellent understanding of business objectives and goals
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
