We have a challenging opportunity for an Jr. Account Representative within our Diamond & Jewelry department in NYC.

Job Summary:  
The Jr. Account Representative position develops, maintains and interacts using a broad scope with existing customers.  Develops sales strategies to demonstrate the benefits of using Brink’s Global Services and achieve increased sales and profitability. The incumbent will work a flexible work schedule and travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Expand market share where Brink’s does not have a strong presence; develop relationships through networking with a focus on India and other related emerging markets.
• Identifies revenue opportunities within the Diamond and Jewelry customers through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
• Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established business partners.
• Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
• Establish and maintain multi-level business relationships with executive and senior level management with respect to customer accounts.
• Work closely and support the Account Executive’s and Sr. Director – Business Development
• Responds to request from customers for information and pricing
• Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes that effective the Diamond and Jewelry customers
• Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
• Assist other departments as directed by Senior Management (ie: Trade Shows, Other Branches etc).
• Properly fill out paperwork and administrative forms that are required to initiate service for customers.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of  three (2) years of customer service experience
• Intermediate to Expert level skills in all areas of Microsoft Office
• Must be 21 years of age
• Demonstrated record of achievement as a self-starter and team-player
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Air Freight / Freight Forwarding specifically in the Sales, Account Development and customer service
• Demonstrated ability to execute business-to-business selling plans and business acumen
• BS or BA Degree
Professional Skills:
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship building skills
• Successful candidates must possess excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism
• Professional, positive demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills as well as working collaboratively with others
