Job Summary:
The M-5 Processor is responsible for data input, transmitting data over network, reconciling rejects and operating the system safely.   This position functions in an armed environment.   

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the Bank Nope Processing System (BPS/M-5) its functions, modules and components
• Adhere to safety instructions and recommendations when working with the automated equipment
• Start and shut down the BPS/M-5 system and compressor unit
• Understand the operating modes of the BPS/M-5 and Brink’s established parameters
• Generate system reports and understand their use for balancing deposits and accounts
• Send reports to system printer and transmit data over the network
• Reconcile the rejects at the Vault Management system
• Recognize errors/issues and address before completing transaction
• Understand how to prep currency for the BPS/M-5 and header card use
• Load and change the BPS/M-5 consumables and strapping material
• Respond to error messages and faults, and resolve them
• Reposition belts, guides and adjust the banknote feeder for best performance
• Identify simple faults, complete troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Resolve bank note jam recoveries while processing
• Complete daily cleaning of the transport and NotaTracc
• Complete daily preventative maintenance procedures
• Use high speed BPS/M-5 to achieve daily production goals
• Follow any direction provided by supervisor and/or manager

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in account reconciliation and any of the following: cash handling, inventory control, deposit processing, vault processing, account reconciliation, ATM processing environments or being a Cashier or Teller  
• Ability to pass firearms license
• Valid gun card or ability to get gun card
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to read product documentation and comprehend materials
• Use of provided system documentation for reference and to increase functional understanding level as well as fault identification and resolution
• Knowledge of Windows operating system and general computer skills
• Light mechanical skills (similar to copy machine jams)
• Ability to work with phone based support group to resolve issues and follow messages on BPS/M-5 system

Preferred Qualifications:
• Cash handling experience in secure logistics or banking industry
• Prior experience with automated equipment and technology based machines
• HS diploma or GED
