The Opportunity:
The Manager, Field Training is a critical member of Brink’s learning and development team and will be responsible for the assessment, design, and implementation of field based training for salaried and hourly team members (6K+ across 110 branches).  
• Manage the design, development and delivery of field based training programs, tools and materials in a variety of learning formats for Brink’s field salaried and frontline team members adhering to best practices in adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Build training content, including facilitator’s guides, learning aides, etc. that support replicable, consistent and effective delivery of the material through the appropriate modality.
• For all field based training, determine the right delivery approach for each initiative or training (we use online training when we can and in-person training when that’s the right thing to do).
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of existing field training programs and materials and provide recommendations to improve quality and execution
• Serve as primary point of contact for all line of business training, new field based initiatives (e.g. process improvements, etc.), and customer implementations that require training support
• Develop and lead ways of ensuring that district training managers, field branch leaders, and branch trainers and other subject-matter experts (SMEs) serve as excellent presenters and facilitators
• Design and deliver programs/projects on time, on budget and meeting stated objectives
• Develop and establish training evaluation metrics to demonstrate the training is having the desired business impact including tracking and reporting on training outcomes.
• Travel to branches within Districts to conduct needs analysis, design training and facilitate or conduct training.
• Keep current on training design and methodology.

Job Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven track record of developing and implementing role based training programs.  
• Demonstrated consulting and diagnosis skills – familiarity with ADDIE method

• Ability to handle heavy workloads with limited supervision

• Ability to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish tasks and solve problems

Desired Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience and a track record for successfully designing and deploying field based learning initiatives in a fast paced environment. In addition, they will also have most of the following qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning, development or training field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a trainer, including conducting needs analyses and developing and or delivering curriculum
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office 365, LMS administration, eLearning authoring tools (to include Articulate / Storyline), and creative illustration and production software
• 3+ years training experience in the logistics, manufacturing, or other related industries with decentralized network of branches, manufacturing sites, or retail locations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

Reporting Relationships:
• Reports to Director of Field & Ops Training and will be a key member of Brink’s Global Center of Excellence for Learning & Development
