Job Summary:
The Manager of Licensing and Compliance is responsible for a variety of professional duties relating to support, monitoring and management of all Industry and Regulatory business licensing and administration.  This position functions in an unarmed off site regional office environment.  This is a full time position to be performed (with limited exceptions) at Brink’s offices in Coppell, Texas, with some occasional overtime required.  The position will report to the Director of Firearms and Regulatory Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for the ongoing monitoring and upkeep of the company’s security, firearms and other professional licenses with the applicable federal, state, municipal and other governing agencies, to include license applications, renewals and related inquiries and maintaining a licensing compliance database.
• Management of qualifying agent designations and other required filings for company licenses.  
• Activities may include information gathering, factual investigation, preparation of correspondence, calendaring and the creation of applications, reports and other materials.   
• Creation and maintenance of various status reports, files, databases and analyses.   
• Assisting the Director with dept. budget and annual expense plans
• Recognizes confidential information pertaining to the supervisor’s position and/or department and/or company, and maintains it in accordance with standard procedure
• Such other duties as assigned by the Director of Firearms and Regulatory Compliance or VP of Risk Management.
•  The Senior Manager of Licensing and Compliance is an experienced professional. Typically requires formal training and applicable experience.  Requires the ability to:  meet project and license deadlines; interact effectively with all levels of the company and  outside regulators; ability to write and speak persuasively;  duties require 40 hours per week to be performed at the company’s headquarters location; ability to read and interpret statutes; excellent organizational skills; ability to work independently and problem solve.  May require a small amount of travel (less than 5%).  Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as SharePoint.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience relating to licensing administration
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
• Ability to meet project & license deadlines
• Ability to professionally interact & communicated with all levels of the company, and outside regulators, etc.
• Ability to write and speak persuasively
• Availability for a full-time 40 hour schedule, with occasional overtime, to be performed (with limited exceptions) at Brink’s Coppell, TX offices
• Ability to read and interpret statutes & regulatory forms and applications
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve

Preferred Qualifications:
• Administrative experience handling data of a confidential or sensitive nature
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with Databases
• College, business and/or project management education courses
