Job Summary:
The Supervisor – Operations A is responsible for providing management oversight and day to day leadership of our Pick and Pack operation based at our East Brunswick, NJ facility.  This position must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and perform hands on warehouse management responsibilities in addition to leading a team of logistics specialists.  This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers and in armored vehicles in transit, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers, including armored vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all shipments for postal or commercial conveyance are handled in an accurate and timely manner, making it to each destination as scheduled and that staff appropriately/properly bag, tag, sort and route shipments.
• Ensure and verify the shipment guidelines are followed and appropriate shipping containers are packed for safe delivery. delivery.
• Address any discrepancies or shipment defects with the customer
• Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.
• Maintain departmental reports, including daily shipping report, receiving and repair logs.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.  Continue quality improvement objectives and safety.
• Leads, develops and trains employees performing related work.
• Other assigned duties as directed by Management

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vault operations/pick and pack/ logistics/supply chain or related field or related position
• Minimum of 3 year of experience using MS Office and Windows applications
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements if required.
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses.
•  Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds when necessary and stand on your feet for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in freight forwarding/transportation or related field.
• Experience working with diverse customer base in a dynamic fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills as well as working collaboratively with others.
• Working knowledge of Import/Customs logistics, armored transportation, other related industry.
• Good math skills.
