Job Description

The messaging support engineer is responsible for providing level 3 support for message routing ad protection layers. Technologies supported include: IronPort and Office 365, Agari, and Email DLP
Primary responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for internal support escalations.
Work directly with the vendor support team for any platform or service related issues
Act as the point of contact for any mail routing and delivery issues.

Job Requirements

7+ years of experience administering common chat messaging platforms
7+ years of experience working in a support role
5+ years of experience in AD
7+ years of Office 365 support and deployment experience
General TCP/IP networking knowledge
IP Addresses, Masks, Default Gateway, DNS, Subnetting, Knowledge of common assigned ports
SMTP troubleshooting skills
Experience administering a MDA, preferably Exchange or Office 365
Resourcefulness, can pull together the right cross-functional teams to get an issue resolved
Self-motivator that thrives providing users with world-class support and can manage a set of competing priorities
Hands-on experience using Slack preferred
Domain Key Identified Mail (DKIM)
Domain Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance (DMARC)
Sender Policy Framework (SPF)
Experience administering a perimeter email filtering server (IronPort would be ideal)
