Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Strategic Market Director in the attainment of short-term and long-term business and financial results for an assigned market.  Responsibilities include providing direction to Team Leaders in the areas of Route Logistics, Operations, HR, Marketing, Safety and Security.  Develops strategy and vision to lead and motivate team members to the best results and to meet financial budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supports the Strategic Market Director in providing the leadership necessary to organize the market logistics and aggressively develop a product lines within the market.
• Leads the Route Logistics operations at a specific location within one of the strategic markets.
• Identifies ways to improve management of costs, continually improves efficiencies and drives services to positively impact business results in the market.
• Provides the leadership necessary to organize and aggressively develop the product lines within the assigned market.
• Responsible for the successful integration and partnering with all Brink’s product lines.
• Responsible for planning and organizing of routes and operations, equipment needs, budgets, human resources, safety and security.
• Ensures the branch is operating within the guidelines of the GSR.  Maintains, controls, audits all alarm codes.  Completes safety and security inspections, monitors security at the branch and ensures crews adhere to guidelines.
• Ensures all proper training is conducted and responsible for maintenance of all appropriate documentation, including the coordination and monitoring of all vehicle maintenance records and programs. Ensures all branch monthly reports are complete and accurate.
• Controls labor and expenses to meet financial budget objectives.
• Ensures appropriate hiring and scheduling of all employees and crews.  Ensures proper handling of employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations of employees.
• Establishes profitable relationships with all levels of key client and prospect organizations by maintaining good communications and service levels with customers.
• Ensures proper recruitment, selection and training, while mentoring, coaching, and overseeing the development of the supervisory team assigned to the market.
• Proactively reduces risk exposure and ensures implementation of measures to reduce worker’s compensation injury costs and security losses within the market.
• Establishes and maintains accountability on all levels of the market.  Maintains positive Employee Relations and work environment.
• Maintains the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis.
• Maintains high ethical standards and protects the Brink’s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for Facilities, Fleet, Firearms, Safety, Security and Training Programs.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in transportation and/or logistics
• Minimum of 2 year of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Satisfy  all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Minimum of  21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience as an armored car driver
• Knowledge of route analysis and logistics
• Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience
• Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Skills:
• Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
