Job Summary:
The Cash Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising all activities and employees in the cash processing room.   This position functions in an armed environment.   

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, reconcile and account for all items received at the branch each day
• Ensure all work is received into the system the day it is received into building per SLA guidelines
• Validate meeting standards and work flow for deposit processing
• Ensure that check imaging end of day balance sheet is completed and any outbound issues are resolved, escalate any issues to Checking Support regarding deadlines or SLAs
• Verify inventories are secured and balanced, any issues escalated
• Complete data entry into system and ensure cash balanced
• Manage orders for customer deadlines and ensure pick list out of balance issues resolved
• Ensure that the Lead Cash Processor is completing the production checklist during the day
• Ensure all stations are clean with visual inspections, all stamps and tickets are secured and all unresolved work is completed
• Escalate any issues with equipment and reorder supplies in a timely manner
• Respond to the dynamic tickets/cases, teller coaching/disciplinary action and root cause analysis and resolve issues
• Enter employee schedules in KRONOS, correct missed punches, review schedule adherence
• Interview and participate in the hiring, disciplinary and termination processes
• Attend all communication and training calls, ensure staff is aware and following SWIs/SOPs and complete internal audits as prescribed
• Escalate per BCP, follow up with updates and provide guidance to other branches
• Adhere to branch standards to perform closing branch duties according to CSR
• Ensure proper cross training for all products/customers/services supported by the branch
• Follow any direction provided by manager

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a cash or coin environment
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a production environment
• Ability to pass firearms license
• Valid gun card or ability to get gun card
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Skilled at working in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment
• Experienced in balancing production and financial objectives

Preferred Qualifications:
• Cash handling experience in secure logistics or banking industry
• Experience in a coin environment
• Knowledge of LEAN/process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and planning
• Basic computer skills
• HS diploma or GED
